Happiness Should No Longer Be Your Goal

Happiness Should No Longer Be Your Goal

Why your pursuit of happiness may never make you happy? So commonly frequented on many a' list of goals, the words “Happiness” or “To be truly happy”. It saddens me to think that so many people feel the need to identify this as a goal to be achieved or an outcome to arrive at. Ironically [...]

The truth behind the smiles: Flight Attendants

The realities facing the present day Flight Attendants. I would feel confident in telling you that there is no job in the world that can offer you the life teachings that being a flight attendant can. Believe it or not I’ve learnt so much more then making a better cup of tea then most. You [...]

Travelling Tips and Truths

Here are some tips and truths about travelling that will help you out on your journey. 1. The World isn’t as Scary as its been made out to be I strongly believe we’ve been hugely influenced by the information we get fed via media outlets whether that be the portrayal of war, nuclear weapons and [...]

Goal Setting: A way out!

January 3, 2018April 21, 2019by Ellie HaretukuLeave a Comment on Goal Setting: A way out!

Giving you all a way out of the potentially unrealistic goals you may have set while getting swept away by the start of a New Year. With a New Year comes new goals and resolutions. Hopes for a fresh start and an invigorated sense of determination and focus. Shortly followed by the New Year slump [...]

The Haze (Self Help Piece)

The Haze (Self Help Piece)

When life gets overwhelming, it feels like you’re snowed under with tasks, the mundane routines we so often get stuck in and the feelings and emotion that can infiltrate our mind and bodies. The mist sets in, the haze starts to descend and before we know it we’re driving down a foggy highway with no [...]

Generational Gratification

May 28, 2017April 21, 2019by Ellie Haretuku35 Comments on Generational Gratification

A generation not used to waiting leads to unsettled and anxious hearts. When presents were reserved for birthdays and Christmas, but now if we see something we want we buy it. Because it was there, we had the means, and well, we wanted it. We're hungry, and that delicious Sunday roast that our mothers would [...]

Somethings Just Don’t Matter

Somethings Just Don’t Matter

Front and center, it’s your pride and joy for all to see. It’s your picture of an adventurous day or a delicious meal, it’s your video of something funny you captured, it’s an opinion or information you want to share with others and it’s the well formulated response you give when your content gets a [...]

Festival X Brisbane (because we bought our tickets before they announced the Auckland one) 😂 Nice excuse for a trip away though ✌🏼
Did you ever think, sitting in ground school we’d end up on a boat sailing the coast of Italy 🇮🇹 My sweetest friend, I love the special life we have ❤️ have an amazing day all the way over on the other side of the world. I have a feeling I’ll be seeing you really soon (will manifest it) 😂😘 Happy Birthday 🥳 Sending all my love to you ❤️
After, over four years of flying to LA we finally made it to the Hollywood Sign 😬🤷🏻‍♀️
I learnt something while reading my book in the hair dresser today... Everything in the universe is magnetic and everything has a magnetic frequency too. Like a magnet you attract people, events and circumstances that are on the same frequency. Whatever frequency your feelings, thoughts and words are giving off is exactly what will be returned to you (good & bad). If you want to read more the book is, The Power, by Rhonda Byrne. It’s the book that taught me how to begin manifesting 😬😆😂
You can’t always wait for the sun to shine but you can smile like it is 😂 So here’s a rare never before seen on Instagram photo of the forbidden city with 100% chance of rain, haze and cloud cover.
I didn’t pack any clothes for a wet and cold Beijing and I brought my worst blister shoes (clearly had no intention of hanging out with my crew lol). So I tricked them into buying these plastic ponchos as a “team building” exercise 😂 I actually really needed it though 😬 Here I am resting my feet on some really cool stairs in the Forbidden City!
Lots of people ask me for book recommendations, no matter who it is I’ll always recommend “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho. If you were to only read one book in your entire life make it that one! Everything you need to know about life presented in the simplest of stories. “When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it” ✨ you’ll never experience life the same after reading it 📚
I need to get cuter shoes to travel with 😂 Made it to the end of my 10 day trip with two new bags (under my eyes). I swear it is not normal to miss so many nights sleep! Atleast I had @berlinpapalii waiting for me all the way from London ❤️
Remember in school when the teacher would tell you, “No question is a stupid question, and if you’re thinking it, then someone else is probably thinking it too”. Then someone would actually ask a stupid question and everyone would be like “uuggHhHhHh” 😂 sometimes you really aren’t alone in your thoughts and experiences though! So many of us often go through similar life experiences. By speaking up you inadvertently help so many others who thought they were in it alone. SO, for our next podcast, @torrelltafa and I thought we’d do an “advice podcast” if you need an unbiased, external source of information then DM us your situations and we’ll chat about it on the podcast. It could be advice about career/job, love/relationships/friendships or just life in general. Hopefully we can share knowledge and conversation and help yourself and others going through similar situations!
